Oregon Cascades

I took the next three panoramas of Mt. Jefferson and Jefferson Park in early August 2008. The thick winter snowpack lingered unusually late this year. These snow conditions are more typical of early June than August. In a normal year the meadows at this time would be full of wildflowers and not buried beneath several feet of snow. The other following panoramas show much more typical summer scenes in Jefferson Park.
